Hey Ram

Hey Ram is all about twist and turn. Saketh Ram comes from a wealthy and educated South Indian family and is currently touring around Karachi, British India, accompanied by his business friends Lalwani and Amjad Ali Khan. Saketh travels to Kolkata to meet his beloved wife Aparna. Then religious riots erupt and soon Sikh and Hindu gangs are killing Muslims on sight, while there are Muslim gangs killing non-Muslims on sight and raping and molesting their wives. Unfortunately, Aparna is one of those women. Saketh is angry, first with the Muslims, then with Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi for advocating peace with the Muslims, and soon he becomes involved with a revolutionary group of right-wing Hindus from Maharashtra who want to assassinate Gandhi. The British leave a bitter and divided India and Saketh return home, where his family marries him to Mythili Iyengar. Subsequently, both of them leave and move to Maharashtra where they meet with Maharaja and soon become involved in the conspiracy to assassinate Gandhi. Saketh Ram and Shriram Abhyankar are entrusted with this task, but Shriram has an accident, becomes paralyzed, and subsequently dies, leaving Saketh with the task of assassinating Mohandas, who will later be known as Mahatma Gandhi.
