Veer Zaara

Veer Zaara Synopsis:

Veer Zaara is a story about love, separation, courage, and sacrifice, Veer Zaara is a romantic drama. A beautiful Pakistani heiress, Zaara Hayaat Khan (Preity Zinta), meets Veer Pratap Singh (Shah Rukh Khan) one day as he is serving as an officer and pilot in the Indian Air Force.

Zaara’s aunt and uncle are willing to take her in for the night, even though most Indians do not show much affection for Pakistanis. Veer falls in love. It is not long before Veer learns about Zaara’s engagement to Raza (Manoj Bajpai), a cruel and unfunny Pakistani.

As Veer comes to Zaara’s rescue, things take a turn for the worse, and Veer ends up in jail when a friend reveals that Zaara wants out of the engagement. After twenty years, Veer finds himself still behind bars, facing a new trial, but instead of facing a state attorney who has never lost a case, his lawyer will be facing him.

In her quest for justice, she is determined to uncover the truth about Veer. Saamiya the lawyer and Veer return to India after Veer marries Zaara at the Indo-Pakistan border. Religious and national military differences are overcome by romantic love and sacrifice.
