Om Shanti Om Synopsis

Om Shanti Om movie has stayed in our hearts for a long.

In this movie, the romance between Om Prakash Makhija and actress Shantipriya dates back to the 1970s. They become friends when Om rescues Shanti from a fire that has gotten out of control. It seems like all of his dreams are about to come true–until he learns she’s married to film producer Mukesh Mehra and expecting his child.

After luring Mukesh into an abandoned studio, he burns it down because he is fearful of financial loss and career destruction. Eventually, he dies after trying unsuccessfully to rescue her.

Om is now the son of Bollywood actor Rajesh Kapoor and himself an actor 30 years after being reincarnated as Om. After he meets Bela, his widowed mother from his previous life, he remembers his past life.

A movie, Om Shanti Om, is also made by him and Mukesh. Om hires Shantipriya to look like Mukesh and hopes to force him to confess, but things go wrong and Om’s life is once more endangered.

The ghost of Shanti bids Om a tearful goodbye at the end of the story. Suddenly, she disappears up the stairs. The end of the story implies Om and Sandy will meet.
