Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is a romantic comedy starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, in which they play an ‘odd’ couple who find romance in the backdrop of a dance competition called ‘Dancing Jodi.’ Surinder Sahni is Shah Rukh Khan, a man who works for Punjab Power and falls for Anushka Sharma, who plays Taani, a very flamboyant and fun-loving girl who makes the world her canvas and paints it with rainbow colors all until unforeseen circumstances change everything for them.

Because of the large age difference between Surinder and Taani, they lead a not-so-happy marriage. The movie’s main backdrop, Dancing Jodi, is about Taani wanting to take part in a reality show that involves dancing.

There are couples of all racial and ethnic backgrounds and sexual preferences participating in the dance contest. Her husband’s lack of fashion sense prevents Taani from taking part in the show. Upon finding out his wife wants to be a part of the reality dance show, Surinder undergoes a drastic change. The changed husband of Taani keeps enrapturing her. In the end, they both live happily.
