In the late 1980s, Shah Rukh Khan made his television debut with Fauji. Following the preparation of an Indian Army commando unit, Fauji was an Indian Hindi television series. DD National aired it in 1989, and Raj Kumar Kapoor directed it.
Vikram Rai, played by Rakesh Sharma, was going to be the show’s main protagonist, with Abhimanyu Rai, played by Shah Rukh Khan, supposed to be his sidekick. He was, however, a big hit with the camera as well as the rest followed!

His first Bollywood film –
Deewana was Shah Rukh Khan’s first Bollywood film. Divya Bharti portrayed the part of Kajal opposite SRK as Raja Sahai. As well as Amrish Puri, Mohnish Behl, Alok Nath, & Dalip Tahil, the cast of this Rishi Kapoor starrer was equally impressive.
